Pages most sites need
| Page | What it does | What we need from you |
|---|---|---|
| Home | Says what you do, where, and how to start | Your main services and the action you want people to take |
| Service pages | One page per service, so each can be found in search | A few lines on each service, or notes we can write from |
| Service area | Shows the towns or neighborhoods you cover | A list of areas, and any you don't serve |
| About | Who runs the business and how you work | A short story and a photo, if you want one |
| Contact | Form, hours, and how fast you usually reply | Hours, email, and where form messages should go |
New site or redesign
For a redesign we start by reading your current site and its search traffic, if you can share access. Pages that bring in visitors keep their addresses, or get redirects, so you don't lose what already works. Pages nobody visits are merged or dropped. For a brand new business we start from your services and the questions customers ask most on the phone.
Text and photos
A site lives or dies on its words. You can write the text yourself, send rough notes for us to shape, or ask us to write it from a short interview. Your own photos of the team, the van, the shop or finished work almost always beat stock images. If you don't have them yet, we'll mark the spots where a photo would help and use plain layouts until they arrive.
Speed and phones
Most visitors to a local business site arrive on a phone, often in a hurry. We keep pages light, put the phone number and the main button where a thumb can reach them, and test on real phones before launch. Search engines reward the same things, so a fast, clear site helps you get found as well as get called.
After launch
You get the logins for your domain, hosting and site editor. We show you how to change hours, services and photos. If you want us to handle updates, that is quoted separately, and you can stop at any time.
Questions
Do you use a website builder or custom code?
It depends on what the site has to do. Simple sites often run well on a builder you can edit yourself. Sites with booking rules, portals or custom forms usually need custom work. The quote explains which we suggest and why.
Can you move my site from another platform?
Yes. We copy over the pages and text you want to keep, set up redirects from the old addresses, and switch the domain once the new site is approved.
